“These are a few of my favorite things!”

Hello, Saturday! It’s been a fun, crazy, hectic work week but I made it out alive! It’s been a week or so since I’ve blogged, I apologize, seems like life has caught up with me! Since it is a GORGEOUS day here in the ATX, I thought I’d share more of my favorite things with you guys!

Kyle Park– Yup, I was on assignment when I first was introduced to Kyle Park. I loved his energy and music. I have gotten to photograph and see his live shows since our first meeting in January and I am blown away by his talent. I absolutely love his live energy! He released his Fall EP back in September and I’ve been meaning to write a little review about it, but I have been so busy I haven’t found the time. Soon, soon.. I promise! Check out his website to see when he’s in your area and check out his show. I’ll always be partial to him because I met someone pretty special to me on that cold January night when I photographed his show for the first time. 🙂

Whole Foods. Yes, I’m that kind of soul. ;). I love Whole Foods, I could spend hours just perusing every aisle and filling my cart with organic and yummy goodies! My favorite finds thus far? Whole wheat tortilla chips that are made in-house and vegan chocolate cake. Hey, it is vegan, it is healthier ;). That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it! THAT’S MY STORY! OH THAT’S MY STORY. Thank you, Brian Burke, for keeping that song alive! Every time I go to Whole Food’s I can’t leave without going to the barbecue place and getting a chicken sandwich… I also leave with some sort of cleaning product. The thought of cleaning sounds so much fun when you see all the pretty cleaning bottles.. not so much when you get home :).

The Ranch iPhone App.- I don’t live in Ft. Worth (yet- more on that at a later date) and so I can’t pick up 95.9 The Ranch in my car, but thanks to my AWESOME iPhone I’ve been able to download The Ranch app and ta-da I can listen from anywhere! I really love this radio station because it plays the music that I love and photograph. We Texans need to promote our local artists and the Ranch does an amazing job! So all you iPhone users go download The Ranch iPhone app now!

Sanuks. These shoes are pretty much the most comfortable and amazing shoes out there. I have had owned quite a few pair of Sanuk’s and they are pretty killer. They go great with jeans or shorts. I even own a couple of pair of their flip-flops, which are made out of yoga mat, and I’ve worn them causally with dresses. Their designs make them fun to match with outfits and they spice up your life! 🙂
