The Wasted Hearts

Last week I had the opportunity to photograph one of my dear friends, Eric and his band The Wasted Hearts. Eric and I go way back. We used to terrorize work together at Texas Tech University and became really good friends. He officiated Luis and I getting married and I got to photograph his wedding to Adriana. He’s a super talented and funny guy. One of my favorite friendships.

Anyways, check out the photos from their set at Hole in The Wall!

Davis Family Photos

This past Saturday, I drove to the Abilene area to take photos of the Davis family!

Tia was my first best friend. I was 3 years old when she was born, and we have grown up to be fabulous 30— something-year-olds! 😀 She’s more like a sister than a cousin to me, and I love seeing the woman, wife, mom she has become.

They recently purchased land out in Hawley and built a beautiful home. We set out to photograph on their land in an area with trees. We were surprised with extra models in our shoot, as their cows came to hang out in the background!

After our session with the cows, we drove over to their quarry to take photos of the kids running around and playing. It got a bit windy, so our session was cut short, but we will be back to capture more photos.

I hope you enjoy these almost as much as I love this family.

Reese’s Headshots

I met Reese  (Reese’s Pieces) when I started working for the company I work for now. She is part of the college team division of the company, while I’m in operations. Both of our areas shared our Austin campus location. I was immediately drawn to her because we share similar interests and we make each other laugh. Over the past year and a half, we have developed a pretty fun friendship, and I think the world of her. She just got engaged on NYE and has started the fun process of planning her wedding! Super excited for her and her future husband. Below are some headshots from our session. She totally needs to model as a side gig, she’s fierce y’all!

I’m almost done editing photos from Tagger’s 4th birthday party last week! Look for those on the blog next week. Have a wonderful weekend!
