I haven’t updated my blog since January. I wish I could soley blame it on the fact I’ve traveled and worked so much for Tech to update, but truth is, I needed a break. Here is a little update of what’s been going on!
I finished my first “semester” recruiting kids to Texas Tech! I have had a blast so far, I’ve been extremely exhausted but I truly love what I do. I love that I get to speak to students about Texas Tech and represent my beloved school! I have also planned a few events for Tech and loved every minute of it! Y’all know my obession with details and event planning! All in all it has been crazy but in a great way. I love that I finally have a job where I am pumped at the beginning of every day. We will see where it leads me, but I’m loving the event planning aspect. 🙂
I’m moving North… I know NORTH AUSTIN. Aye, dios mio! I’m moving to the Lake Travis area so it’s not that bad but I am very hesitant being that I love South Austin. But, our office is being built in the Arboretum so I have to move closer to work. Boooooo. ;). I am trying to look at it as if I’m moving to a new city, I practically am. I’m sure I’ll find something cool to do there, I mean helllloo hippie hollow 😉 hahahahahahahah.
Rocker and I have a new addition to our family. Meet Ryder. She’s an adorable Boston Terrier we adopted randomly one day in San Angelo, TX. I’ve been hesitant to getting another dog with my busy schedule but I couldn’t say no to her! She’s named after our Masked Rider (but with some flair!) She has taken our hearts and we are beyond thrilled to have her. She definitely keeps us on our toes! She loves ALL dog toys, I pick up about 15 a day throughout the house.
Things I’m looking forward to:
* Lubbock for a week in June
* 10 HS Reunion
* Lake time
* PHOTOGRAPHING. Yup, my retirement was quick, I can’t say no, I love it too much!
I’ll be updating at least weekly throughout the summer with photos of everything but mainly, my love, music and concert photography!
I’ve missed y’all and I’m back!
Love it. live it. capture it.
