Casey Donahew- Mardi Gras, Texas Style Sneak Peek!

I’m still working on photos from Casey Donahew’s set but I thought I’d share a sneak peek while I make you wait! But first, I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TEXAS! Today Texas turns 175 and I’m proud to say I’m a Texan. What I love about Texas, is that we are unique and we share a common goal of being friendly. What I love about Texas Music is that we share the same goals, it’s not about who sings, writes or plays better, it’s about the friendships you gain along the way through working toward your dream. I’m proud to be in this scene and will continue photographing this particular genre as new and old artists come together and help each other. The picture I’m sneak peeking falls into this ideal/belief. While Casey was playing his AMAZING set, Josh Abbott came on stage and threw out some goodies to the fans! I think it was an awesome moment for both of these guys and I’m glad I was there to capture it! Enjoy and be sure to check back tomorrow for pictures of NO JUSTICE! Happy Birthday, Texas!
