This past week I had the wonderful opportunity of photographing my hometown 2009 Miss Sutton Co. Queen Contestants. I get to judge and name the Miss Photogenic award and I’m MORE than excited about it! At about 8:30 am we took off and shot around the Sutton Co, Courthouse and other areas around what we call “downtown” Sonora, which is ridiculous considering its barely half a block! Oh the joys of small West Texas towns! I had such an amazing time getting to know the girls and getting to see their talents behind my lens. They made it super hard for me to decide but you will have to wait until August 15th to learn who was the winner! In the mean time if anyone is interested in attending Sutton Co. Days and the Rodeo and Dance please let me know because the main aspect of running for Miss Sutton Co. is to sale tickets to the Rodeo and Dance. So let’s help the girls raise money for a great community! Hope you like them! Good luck girls and thank your for letting me shoot you guys! 😀
